Figured I just share this...but the Dr.Frankenstein in me had to get loose during the weekend.
My cab is basiclly a Mame cab/jukebox...So far as for sound issues, the only problems Ive had sound wise was that I had to replace a crappy 2.1 speaker setup a few month back. At the time I went during Thanksgiving and bought a Gigaware 2.1 system.( retail price $60 but I got on sale half price.) It sounds great....buttttt....
During this past weekend, My wife had me doing the honeydew list and I realized that we dont really use our home theatre unit in our living room. So i took it down and that was when the mad doctor took over and said "Hey....lets put this in the cab...."
This is the unit I have...
Sharp SD-AT1000 600 Watt Home Theater Audio System

I then proceeded to take the massive 600 watts of pure energy and i placed it in my cab...
(wish I had my camera, but its broke....)
The subwoofer and my PC alone filled up the bottom of my cab, so i decided to install a shelf underneath my keyboard so that the unit can sit . I had to go to Radio Crap and I had to buy a 3.5 to RCA cable splitter.

and a 3.5 splitter

The 3.5 splitter is hooked to the back of the PC...This allows me to have my regular 2.1 PC speakers hooked up and also I can hook up the surround sound unit. Using the 3.5/RCA splitter, I hook the RCAs to the back of the surround sound unit and the 3.5 plugs into the extra hookup on the 3.5 splitter...

"Are you with me, Camera guy?"
Now...with me doing this...It will allow me to have whatever music/noise/whatever to be played out through both my PC speakers and also my surround sound unit.
I turned it up and words cant explain how I felt...

It was so loud that the cabinets in the room were rattling open...

With this setup, I now have the jukebox that i always wanted out of my mame cab...
And when friends come over I can blow them away with the sound quality...and when they leave I can go back to the usual setup.
Only downside is that I have to manually open the cab and turn the unit on. I wish i could somehow mount an on/off volume control on the cab. But I know that if needed I can take it out of the cab incase i miss it being in the living room.
I was so happy, I told my wife and she looked at me like "whatever"....
I had to express my happiness to my BYOAC family...
