Wanted: pinball chime unit, preferably in the UK
« on: February 07, 2010, 09:38:47 pm »
i have a recel lady luck pinball machine next to my wip mame cab, and when i got it, it was missing it's chime unit (well, really this machine had a tacky electronic sound unit, but those are rarer than hens teeth)

it just dosent sound right playing silently except for the 50,000 score bell and the free game knocker, so i figured i'd get a standard 3 bar chime unit as fitted to most EM machines.

but it seems they just dont exist in england, or if they do i can't find one,

Does anyone in the UK have a spare chime unit i can buy? or anyone in america (or anywhere else) with one cheap enough to make up for the high postage and customs charges type things i'd prolly get for royal mail opening it, re-sealing it and holding it ransom till i pay their handeling charge.
