  • I'll clean up my mess, Honey, when I'm done...
So I think I finally get it.  These are intended to be table top components, sitting at a desk, facing a TV or monitor.  I really wish I could justify the money for such a nice wheel and pedal assembly.  Great job.

<edit>   I went back to the front page, and now remember that this gear is going into an off-the-shelf driving frame.  Doh...

Thanks to the help in this thread I have modified my wheel to use external sequential shifter and hand break by wiring the shifter to the two push buttons on the paddles and the handbreak to the back of the pcb. There is a connector on the side panel of the wheel so i can unplug them when not needed.
Now when they are unpluged the wheel works fine, but when i connect the handbreak and gears they work fine but the up on the d pad registers as down so have no way to go up in the menu, does anyone know what may be causing it spent hours trying to work it out but cannot seem to find a solution thanks for any help you can give
