should be an interesting project.

If I can get the monitor to come back to life I'll make it a multi-wars.

Nice Score!!

Don't you love the feeling of a good find on ebay?

So when you mame it, you can just send the yoke to me. The cab should look nice with a 4 player panel with a spinner and a trackball for golden tee.   :P

So I'll take the yoke....It's the least I can do.   ;D

Yeah that cab is definitely begging for a nice big frankenpanel.  Maybe something in orange....    :D

Very nice. Been a while since I've seen one. A small town on the outskirts of Belgrade (Yugoslavia) if I remember. Probably bombed into the ground by NATO.
Now in a tasty new flavour.

That'd be cool to watch. Us NATO member countries love blood and destruction. Oh, and fluffy white bunnies. ;)

Ack, now I am not the only BYOAC member with a Star Wars!

Now, lets see who gets their's going first!  ;D

brought the game home tonight. One side is scratched up, but the other side is nearly perfect.  8)

When I arrived at the sellers house he had it plugged in and the garbled display was shrunken to the bottom left corner of the monitor.  He said the star wars theme played too, and he hadn't heard it do that before. He also claims he fiddled with the knobs on the monitor  >:(. When I went around the back side I could smell something burning, or dust burning on the transformer, not really sure. I got nervous and shut the machine off.  Now I need to locate a Star Wars repair kit, and a repair kit for the trigger buttons since one seems to have no spring. Overall I think I got a raging deal at $250.oo, esp. if I can fix it easily with the repair kit.  Then it's multi-wars time.  ;D

Oh, and he had a Tron in his garage too, but wouldn't sell it to me. He's going to MAME it.  :-[

I begged him not too, and in the end he said he might sell it to me if he doesn't mame it. It's a basket case, but I love a challenge.  :)

Can you take some pics of the front of the bezel and such?  I haven't seen many good pics from the players perspective.

Crap.  If I had known about this I would have bought it and probably just wheeled it down the street a few blocks to my apt.  Burbank. (sigh)
