brought the game home tonight. One side is scratched up, but the other side is nearly perfect.

When I arrived at the sellers house he had it plugged in and the garbled display was shrunken to the bottom left corner of the monitor. He said the star wars theme played too, and he hadn't heard it do that before. He also claims he fiddled with the knobs on the monitor

. When I went around the back side I could smell something burning, or dust burning on the transformer, not really sure. I got nervous and shut the machine off. Now I need to locate a Star Wars repair kit, and a repair kit for the trigger buttons since one seems to have no spring. Overall I think I got a raging deal at $250.oo, esp. if I can fix it easily with the repair kit. Then it's multi-wars time.

Oh, and he had a Tron in his garage too, but wouldn't sell it to me. He's going to MAME it.

I begged him not too, and in the end he said he might sell it to me if he doesn't mame it. It's a basket case, but I love a challenge.
