when my parents upgrade their office computer in the next month, i'll be getting their old un, it's about 3 years old, P4 3.5 'multi scaling' ?? (it's not a dual core, but does something similar).
it's got onboard gfx and sound etc, and a pci-express slot that's free, so i will use that for one of ultimarcs arcade vga2 cards, as i will be running a hantarex polo 2 montior in my cab, but my brother mentioned there is or was 3 versions of the pci-express protocol or someting like that,
anyone know if that's true, i'm thinking this pooter may be most affected if it is, as pci-e came out about the time this pooter was made, so it'd be just my luck its the wrong one for the arcade vga card (like when i finaly decided to get a hdmi player, 3 months later blue ray became the official version, i'd have prolly bought a betamax vcr if i was old enough when the vcr's came out... my dad chose right, with a piano buttoned top loader vhs machine)
