Trackball mounting plate screws
BobA:
I have a 3 inch happ trackball mounting plate. Would some please be kind enough to tell me the length and the tread size of the 4 screws that screw the trackball to the plate. They screw into the standoffs around the trackball hole.
In my Christmas cleaning I seemed to have cleaned the little bag of screws into extinction. I looked at the installation drawing at Happ Suzo and did not find the info on the screws.
Thanks

Over 40 people read my topic and still no answer. I have the same topic posted front page. I need these screws also. I have checked the manual for Golden Tee Fore. IT parts list. Google, bing,.....
I guess if nobody answers, then when my Silver Strike set up comes I can pull one from the panel take it over to the hardware store and match it. I will update you then.

Thanks for the update Brutal E. Sometimes it is hard to determine the thread size and length if you do not have a set that is not installed. Just hoping that I would not have to take a plate and the trackball to Home Depot to try their screws.

Is it a Suzo/Happ mounting plate... I mean actually purchased from them? If so, you should give them a call as they should support their products. Otherwise just take it to your DIY shop of choice.
Brutal E... people tend to pop their head into a topic to see if they can help. If not, back out they go. You shouldn't take it personally.
I use the 2 1/4" trackball, although with a direct fixing into the control panel. But an M5 sits snug in the mounting shaft. I won't guess on the length as the 3" unit will be deeper. But you should be able to measure the casing.
Triangel7D:
I just saw this, and I pulled out my unused 3" Happ mounting kit. Unfortunately, I have a vomiting toddler at home, so I can't get to the hardware store to get the exact thread size. But here is what I can gather:
Screw length: 5.5 cm or 2 3/16"
Thread diameter: 3mm or .25"
The rest of the kit has four 3/8" diameter washers, four 1/2" washers and four hex nuts with "teeth" on one side (which are too big for the screws in question, so they must be for the 4 outer screws on the plate.
Hope that helps. Reply or PM me if you have any more questions I could answer
