2 solutions.

1) If you use your own gamelist, don't put your bios in the gamelist.

2) if you use automatic gamelist generation , use an Exclude list.

Point 6 of the tutorial...

yes, of course, it is just a text file.

You easiest thing to do, is to create one with AtomicStudio to have the correct name and config done for you , then edit it with notepad for instance.

the file for exclude list is in the <atomicfe>/projects/<your project> folder and is named <your screen>.LIST.CFG.EXCLUDELIST

I found it.. You put it under the projects main folder. now they dont show up.. Let me ask something else, why do a few of the snaps not show up, they do under mameui but not under AtomicFe?

how did you name the file????...  It is not normal. it should be in your specific project folder and be named according to your screen .(and it works only if you have first created a excludelist from AtomicStudio (it activates it in your screen config file).

Which one for instance ? (give me the name of the rom and the name of the snap)

Could it be a "clone"?

I named the file exclude.txt I then put it in the AtomicFe main folder and I went into the CFG fiel and told it to use the exclude list. :)
Works like a charm. About the snaps, Ill have to look and see which ones, but there were 2 or 3 out of say 300 I have that the snap wont load, its like on some odd stuff lie sega`s Aladdian that has a rom name of affa or something. The snap loads in Mame but not in AtomicFe, let me say this these are jap version with odd rom names could that be it?

The CFG files are so easy to read that I have been able to fiddle with AtomicFe to make it fit my needs.. Thanks

Ok, i understand better now.  you are modyfing the CFG file directly with a text editor.  ;)

But be aware if you do that you can have same mismatch if you use again AtomicStudio with that modified files..  AtomicStudio depends a lot on files naming convention. So don't be surprise if some strange behavior occurs.

For the snap problem, it is may be just because the clonelist is not up to date with your mame version.

Try to generate a new clonelist from your mame :

Code: [Select]
mame -listclones > clonelist.txt
then copy the resulting file clonelist.txt in your project folder (<atomicfe>/projects/<your project>) and also (just to be sure) in the <atomicfe>/metadata folder

What you mean exactly?

Built'in jukebox in Atomic  need you create a "screen" for it , and put it somewhere in the hierarchy.
