Nintendo Entertainment System PC Mod
« on: December 15, 2009, 10:29:53 pm »
Currently in the process of creating the best NES PC ever made.  I currently have an Artigo Pico-ITX case mounted inside the NES.  Its so small so I can actually do that with no space issues at all.  I want to keep the same power receptacle on the NES case so I need to know how to wire the existing NES power receptacle to my Artigo's power plug.  Once I have the artigos power plug plugged into the artigo case I figured I could cut it from the cable and splice the ends to the NES power receptacle.  It sounds like a simply thing but I have absolutley no knowledge of power supplies or plugs and I dont want to kill myself or the board for that matter.  Once thats done would I be able to then cut off the DC plug off the original NES power supply and splice it to my artigo's power supply and use that to power the system?  Can anyone point me in the right direction?  A billion thanks!
