Mamewah Skins Emulator Order Standard
« on: July 22, 2003, 05:01:34 am »
i was thinking with all the skins going around and the new layout setup in mamewah ppl should
make a standard emulator order. i was thinking maybe like this

1-Mame
2-Neogeo [most ppl dont use it alone so if not neogeo maybe zinc
3-zinc and daphne [i use both in one list with .bat files] if u use zinc above then daphne only
4-nes
5-snes
6-n64
7-GB/GBC
8-GBA
9-Master System
10-Genesis
11-32X
12-Sega Cd
13-GameGear
14-Turbo Graphx 16

just an idea ppl should make some standard. thats pretty much my setup, i have more but its just videos and stuff
maybe if ppl post there setup order and then compare the most common setup and agree on a standard for skins.

i know its not a huge deal to reconfig but it would make skin installs much easier if you ask me.

I see your point but for people who don't use many emu's it may be unsuitable to have say emu 1, 10 & 13 in use only.

Maybe layout creators could make a small textfile to go with their layouts to just explain which EMU? is which, eg:

emu1 = mame
emu2 = zsnes
emu3 = gens etc.

Then people who've downloaded it can quickly alter the filenames based on their setup.
