Auto Open .ASX from website in Media Player

hey guys whenever i click a .asx file from a website, I only get two options, save and cancel............... I want to be able to auto open the file in window media player like in vista, (I am on Windows 7) the associated file type for .asx is already windows media player...................... any help? seems IE security wont let me .................

haha sounds like a help desk call i get everyday day @ work ..... Vista is the ultimate  :censored: when it comes to auto playing .asx files.... easiest fix is right click the link go to properties highlight the url (ending in .asx) opening windows media player holding ALT + F, brining you to the "file" menu and select "open Url" and paste.... yes its a vista bug, yes it sucks  :censored: and yes that is the best fix/workaround
