Best Of Legally Free PC Games
« on: December 09, 2009, 02:56:00 pm »
Thought I would post this here for everyone.

TrackMania is a cool racing game like hard driving. Online play only  :banghead: Networked racing cab would be pretty sweet.

Lots of top down view shooters and 3rd person shooters.

So I hope at least one person will play some of the games.

Some versions of Trackmania were bundled with Starforce, which is a sometimes nasty protection scheme.
It was even bundled with the free versions to prevent it from being used to create a modded non-Starforce .EXE for the retail versions.

Not saying not to download it, but if you're like me, you probably try to make sure your MAME cab stays as fast and uncrapped-up as possible. Just read up on Starforce or see if this version still includes it before installing.

That's an interesting list that guy has there.

Wow. Puzzle Pirates really brings back some memories. I remember playing the game during the Beta tests but quit when they opened the game and went to Pay2Play. Interesting to see they're listed as free. I'll have to take a peek.

I never realised there were games of that calibre freely available! Thanks for the list JA, this should keep me busy for a while.
Never argue with an idiot, he'll just drag you down to his level and beat you with experience.

StarForce drivers have been removed from the new trackmaina nations

Couldn't find them installed on my computer.

Found good article about it though they really destroy CD DVD  drives.
