Very surprised! We decided not to buy anything, though, until this ultrasound (18 week mark), so we have nothing to return. We just have to adjust our registry a little bit, and then send it out (we were holding off on that, too).

Congratulations! That is a very exciting time for you indeed. I remember the overwhelming feeling bringing a baby home. After the scary drive home, it suddenly hit me that this wasn't something temporary. It was for keeps!

Regardless of the sex, you can do nice cabinets (and baby rooms) in Greens, Yellows, Purples and Reds.

Been there, done that. I've never been so shocked as when my wife showed me the picture from the ulrasound. I wasn't there so she came home and handed me the picture. Didn't say a word either.

I looked at it and it took me a minute before I realized that there were two spots (very early ultrasound). I asked if there were supposed to be two. My wife just shook her head.

Two more daughters....they are 15 months old today.

Either way, just knowing you have a blank slate to convey your video game wisdom upon is a fantastic feeling. My son is 2, and he already knows who Mario, Koopa, Luigi, Toad, and various other video game characters are.
