Newbie Question - How do you upload a graphic image to use as an Avatar?

Greetings.

I'm still new the forum, and have a newbie question :dunno:

How do you upload a graphic image, to use as an avatar on this site?

Does the file have to be in a certain format, and size?

Please advise.  Thanks.

At the top, click profile, forum profile information, click "I will upload my own picture"

Not sure of the limitations.
