Getting the status of a working ROM in MAME
« on: December 01, 2009, 07:16:03 pm »
I'm sorry if MAME questions don't belong in the software forum.

How can I find out if/when a working version of ROM is in MAME.

I want to know if NBA Showtime is working in MAME and what's the oldest version of MAME I can use to run it in.

A minimum computer requirement to play this game would also be helpful.

Thanks,
DD

Use MAWS:

http://maws.mameworld.info/maws/

You can sort by all kinds of stuff including game name.  A quick search shows it was added in version .091u1.  MAWS will also show you when it changed if at all.  Entire days can be wasted looking up random stuff in MAWS.   ;)
