PC monitor to Jamma
« on: November 25, 2009, 12:09:55 am »
I'm a newbie here building my first cabinet. I have a 19" pc monitor i've cut the cable exposing the 9 wires i'm not sure what each color is. I'm taking a guess that the red/blue and green corrispond with the red/blue and green connections on the jamma harness. But what are the other ones? I know i need to connect grounds and some sync ones.. but i dont know which is which. can someone help me plz.

The color of the wires of the VGA cable may or may not correspond to the colors on the jamma harness.

You will have to pin-out the cable yourself using a multi-meter.

What kind of PC monitor is this?  If the game you plan on playing isn't 31 khz or higher then you are going to have problems.
