ArcadeVGA AGP card -> dead digital out port?
« on: November 19, 2009, 01:00:54 am »
I just purchased a ArcadeVGA AGP card and I am working at setting up my system at my desk.  My problem is that I am not getting any signal to the Digital port.  I have run the uninstall old ATI software program, but I am still getting nothing out of the Digital port.    When I hook up a monitor to the VGA port, the monitor tells me that the signal is 15hrz, so that seems to be working.   Has anyone else experianced anything similar?

Thanks,
Chris

I thought they displayed from both by default, but it may be that Windows needs to be set for both to display. Is this a version 2 card?

I think it is version two... it is based on the 9200 chipset....

I have tried another motherboard and still no progress...  very frustrating.  The computer fires up but no post screen, I can hear it running and think it is going into windows, just no way to tell because I am getting no video.  I flashed the last mb with the newest bios available, and still no go....  I stick a different agp card in the slop and it goes off without a hitch...

So I took the computer out to the arcade game and plugged it in and the video came up on the arcade game so that was good...   I installed the video card.  I will try a monitor on the digital port tomorrow...  Now I just have to get the panel wired in and get my frontend sorted out....

I don't see an absolute need for the digital output. Just makes sure you have your stuff set up as much as possible. If you do need to do something that requires higher resolution, hook up a small monitor.
