Guys I need help I messed up..NEED HELP!

SO I have a 27 inch sansui running through a s-video to component adapter on a 6600gt graphics card..This is what I run hyperspin and everything on and I think its at 640x480 res. Well I launched epsxe without changing the res and it messed my tv up. I brought a monitor downstairs to try to fix it with the nvedia control panel and the only time the tv works is in clone view. As soon as I set the tv as a default display or restart my pc without the monitor it gives me red wavy lines everywhere..Anyone have any suggestions or how they have there set up? I tryed soft 15khz thinking it would make the resolution stick and it seemed to work but windows still wanted to share the screen so I made the tv the main monitor..I restarted the pc and the tv does nothing after windows load bar goes away it just shuts off and when I plug a lcd monitor in its flicking and I cant really use it..Can someone please give me a step by step way to first make my screens usable again then make my tv my main display cause nvedia sure the hell wouldn't do it..Thanks

The TV out on most (all?) PC cards cannot handle native resolution input (odd, huh?).  This means using Soft15k and similar tools won't work with it, and it'll also cause your PC output to run at timings incompatible with almost all PC monitors on the market.

Boot Windows in safe mode, and it should force 640x480p VGA.  You can then uninstall Soft15k to return to normal video outputs.

Ok I will try to do that to get rid of soft15khz but what can I do after that to get my tv working again? I seriously tinkered around in the nvedia control panel for hours and the best I could do is make both screens work in clone mode but never the tv by its self..I had this working before but I don't remember how..Any help would be appreciated..Thanks

You may also have to uninstall your graphics card and reinstall it.  Sometimes I have entered a glitched mode in Soft 15khz where it will not uninstall until I uninstall my graphics card.

You need to start over from the beginning.

Ok I can reinstall my graphics card adn have that all good again but restart from the beginning of what? I have no clue how to make my tv display again..Nvedia doesnt want it to happen it seems..

Start over from the beginning of the display set-up process.

That means uninstall soft 15khz, uninstall nvidia forceware drivers, and uninstall your graphics card.

Now install your graphics card, install forcewar drivers, and then connect your TV to the computer.  Do not connect it at the same time as the PC monitor at any time.

So you think if I uninstall everything reinstall the graphics drivers then plug ONLY my tv in after restart it will pop up? Usually you need the monitor to configure the tv right?..

I think if you reinstall everything and have it working correctly and then plug in ONLY your TV it should work as you need.

You don't need the monitor to configure the tv.  It should start up in 640x480 by default.
