Centering screen position ?
« on: October 31, 2009, 01:19:17 pm »
Bottom of the picture on my tv when going through my PC TV output is cut a little bit and I was wondering if it is possible to set MAME to display the screen a little bit more up.

Issue seems to be my tv not centering the screen correctly since it can be corrected in windows using nvidia tools. Unfortunatly that has no effect in MAME (and AtomicFE... but that is another issue).

I am looking to fix MAME display for now.

I have done some research but couldnt found anything interesting. Some people talked about hwstretch but I dont want to change how the picture is displayed cause its fine... I just want the screen upper.

Thank you!

Got it!

I had to switch to 640X480 in Windows first then center the screen with the nvidia software. Now when AtomicFE and MAME are launched evrything is centered!  ;D I had to go to the display properties and advance to show all compatible resolutions since by default Windows doesnt let me chose that low resolution.

Problem solved !

Thank you me!
