KeyWiz Question (possibly)
« on: October 28, 2009, 03:51:16 pm »
Hello Smart People! I need some help I think......

I am almost done with my arcade cabinet and it's been going great. I may have messed it up a bit though and i'm kind of stuck.

I'm using a KeyWiz encoder and software.  All was working, but now it isn't.  Basically, when i turn on the system, the software states that there is no connection.  When I hit the upload button in the software, it establishes a connection.  This all started after i removed and re-installed the keywiz software.

Also, i find that when i connect a keyboard instead of the CP, there is initially no connection upon booting, but when I unplug / re-plug the keyboard, it works.

For some reason I struggle with this simple software which I love, could i be setting it up wrong?  Maybe a hardware problem with the port?

Any ideas?  Thanks so much for taking the time.

My Keywiz 40-ST gave me problems possibly like that, so I bought a another pc to work with one keywiz installment and never modify it again in any way.
