Hello, I just got a rush the rock cabinet, When playing i have horizontal grey lines at a slight angle, they do not move and they are very anoying. Ive tried fiddling with the monitor adjustments in the coin door area. but have not had any progress changing the issue, Does anyone know how to fix this? the guy i got the cab from said it was just re-worked with a brand new flyback. Im new to the whole "actual arcade game machine" thing.... im used to tvs and monitors in cabinets with pcs lol..... :dizzy:
Thanks for any help
null
p.s. i allready changed the main power supply as the origonal burned out within a few hours :banghead:

The "SCREEN" control on the new flyback needs to be turned down (counterclockwise) a tad bit.

I agree.... turn the SCREEN pot down on the flyback a bit and see what that does.
(especially with a knowing a new flyback was installed)

Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.

No.  Get a mirror, preferably one you can hold in your hand.  Get in the back so you can see where you're touching.  With the game ON, and you looking in the mirror, turn down the screen control until the lines disappear.  Do it very slowly, it's a coarse brightness adjustment and changes occur rapidly.  Shouldn't take more than a nudge.

Remember to only adjust a monitor after it has been on at least 15 minutes so that it is warmed up and stable.

The Neotec flybacks are known to age and the focus and brightness will then drift constantly.  See Chad at arcadecup for a new flyback.  it solved my exact problem
