Nvidia 9600 Gso tv out issues
« on: October 21, 2009, 01:10:07 am »
I've been trying several different models of tvs with my video card and none show a constant image. Im connecting the pc to tv with an s video to rca cable and my video card does have an extensive tv out menu. whether I set it up by single monitor or dualview, the tv will only show video in the boot menu. and when i change or select a video option in the nvidia control panel it will flicker an image up for about 2 seconds and go black again. It detects a tv monitor at all times and ive tried about every setting i could think of, the most consistant resolution ive been trying for is 640x480. My os is xp and the tv ive been trying for isnt an arcade monitor, its just a normal crt, a zenith model 19a21d, not that i think that's the issue. If anyone has any ideas of why this isn't working, I'd love to hear them.

nvm, i guess http://forums.nvidia.com/index.php?showtopic=52156&view=findpost&p=302569 this solved it if anyone has a similar problem. nvidia sucks with tv out i guess and the old control panel deals with this issue a lot better than the newer one.
