Virtua Fighter 2 monitor
« on: October 12, 2009, 04:07:42 am »
Hello All

I have tried to convert my Virtua Fighter 2 cabinet to a Jamma, but has stumbled on this problem

On my screen wires must be installed like this

GND SYNC B G R
DEM DEM   AC AC

DEM to be connected only with SW

1. The top line is no problem, but is there anyone ho can explain to me what the DEM and SW means?

2. AC and AC are just ordinary. phase and zero?

3. Where on the screen can you see how many volts it takes?

Hope you can help me

Regards

Peder

DEM= demag switch(degauss switch)-connects to a momentary action switch
Ac volts can be 100-120v-connect either way round-best to connect to an isolation transformer
this is a nanao monitor i presume

yeah its real basic, the 2 red wires go to a momentary action switch-when you pulse the switch the screen demags

Ok but the trouble is that this was an empty cabinet I got , so the wires for the DEM DEM and the AC AC was just hanging there, and I don’t know where to connect them

Can it help if I post some pictures? Maybe on your mail

mine dont have anything hooked to the degauss nputs and it is not required unless you need to degauss it really.
