I love the stuff over @ local arcade, I think what Zorg does for the community of collectors is awesome.
I just downloaded the art for DK, DK JR, and DK3. I have three bar tops that I plan on working on shortly.
I plan on using the DK series of artwork for these projects.
I have photoshop and illustrator but am very VERY very new to illustrator.
With the DK sideart from local arcade can I easily remove the blue that surrounds it ?
And if so do I have to do anything special to get it ready to print ?
Long and short of it a friends father can print me full color adhesive vinyl stickers that I plan on using for side art.
He has asked that I send him EPS files, and I would like the images die cut (obviously).
If I can remove the blue that surrounds the DK art that is what I plan on doing. I know with photshop I would use the magic want and presto, but again with illustrator I'm a virgin.
Also with the DK JR art, I noticed that it has a red border, then transparent, then orange. Obviously one would have issues printing a solid image sticker considering an elenment is transparent. Does anyone know where I can find the AI or EPS file of the image without the stars ? Reading online the stars were not part of the original art.
Again, I know in photoshop I can remove them, but then the orange line that outlines the image isnt solid and clean. I myself dont know how to fix that. If anyone has the image without them, with perhaps another solid color between the red and orange that would be awesome.
Looking close at the side art for DK 3 I can't see any issue that would come from printing that as is.
Any advice, help, etc, etc is welcome.
Thanks
