trying to wire up old isolation transformer, help

I am currently wiring up an empty cabinet with a lot of spare parts i had left from other cabs.  I have an old isolation transformer, but it has a lot more connections than i usually use.  I am unsure where the wires should go in from the wall and out to the monitor and switching power supply.  any help is appreciated.  I think the connections should be made using the front connections, the rear has a ton of smaller wires.

That transformer is from a Mylstar/Gottlieb "Three Stooges" game.

Clean the dust off the other side with a paint brush so you can see the numbers and the wire colors.

The monitor output is from three terminals as you can select 100 volt or 120 volt output to your particular monitor:

1 - Common (neutral) Gray-Brown-Brown
2 - 100 volts (if you're using a 100 volt monitor) This was not connected in the Three Stooges game.
3 - 120 volts (hot)    Gray-Black-Black

Terminals 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, and 12 are not used in your application

The 120 volt AC power input to the transformer does not show any numbers on the schematic. The two AC input terminals have Purple-Purple-Purple and Purple-Gray-Gray wires.

A note on Gottlieb's wire coloring scheme:

The basic wire is white insulation with three different colors of stripes.

Thanks Ken!  So, by your description and looking at the picture i posted, the input labeled "com" and 15 are the power input because they are wired with purple purple and purple grey wires.  and 1 and 3 go to the monitor.  which ones go to the power supply? If i am wrong please correct me.

Yes you've got the wiring correct on the transformer.

However, the switching power supply will connect to the INPUT side of the transformer. Only the monitor will be connected to the output terminals (1 & 3).

ok, so i should  solder the power supply wires, as well as the input from the wall to the com and 15 terminals, then wire the monitor from 1 and 3.  does it matter which goes where on the input (hot and neutral on the a/c?).

Yes.

The schematic never specified which input terminals were hot and neutral. It is preferable however that whichever terminals you decide will be hot and neutral that they be connected the same on the switching regulator power supply. Hot-to-hot and neutral-to-neutral.
