Does anyone have experience with these monitors?  I was thinking of buying one to replace my APB Medium Resolution monitor but I am unsure if it would work or not, any ideas? :burgerking:

Those things are expensive. You have to buy the special mounting brackets so it can directly replace your existing monitor. Plus add on Happs' shipping charges, taxes, and handling charges.

You can just use the frame of the CRT you have in your cab now.  I've had no problems with the ones my company has purchased.

The trick with these LCD's is how many of the old standard res and mid res games do they really accept??

I have tested many of these and most of them only accept about 60% of the games... for example if they are above 15.8Khz Horizontal rate you get an out of range message.

We have developed with our partner in Taiwan a family of LCD's that has accepted every game I have thrown at it.

They have the ability to do a broader range of adjustments to size and position in the event the "auto adjust" is not perfect, and remembers them.

We use the same A/D board (analogue to digital) in all sizes ranging from 10" all the way through to 42" (47" is coming).

This allows us to stock these boards, which is important as the A/D board is the most common failure in any LCD.
We are in the midst of developing a system that will allow us to create a custom size bezel for virtually any cabinet. We will stock oversized metal plates and when you call and tell us your opening size, we will cut the plate to size. We are in the process of sourcing a metal shear to do this.
If you are after just the LCD, e-mail me and I will give you a quote.
Thanks as always
Rick
