D9200 Not Powering On
« on: October 08, 2009, 08:53:00 pm »
Hey guys. Got another D9200 that won't power on. It clicks a couple times, but doesn't fire up the tube. Any ideas? I have no idea where to start with the common issues (HOT and stuff). All the transistors that resemble the HOT aren't shorted. Need some help. Thanks in advance - Mike.
Current collection - 28 cabs, 4 pins. (32 machines and not enough room)

Clicking like that usually means some output of the main SMPS is shorted or otherwise overloaded.  The clicking is usually the degauss relay cycling as the microcontroller goes in and out of reset.

Common causes other than HOTs are shorted vertical output ICs and shorted diodes on the outputs of the supply.
