I'm restoring a 67 Dodge Dart road race car, that I plan to race next year.

and I pit crew for a guy who races a 69 Malibu, 64 Malibu, 66 Corvair and a 74 Matador, which I am helping him perpare for a 10 hour endurance race.

I also maintain his website.

Brax, PixalHugger, Hell yeah coincidence! thats gonna be my next project as soon as I get a place big enough (hard enough fitting in an Arcade cab, let alone a 330Bhp of yank muscle car).  I'm looking to put together a Dax replica, running on Jaguar running gear with a small block chevy in it. All going well I'd like it turn out like this nice example here www.v8cobra.co.uk/, now thats gonna be a money pit :)

said7, nice car, I've got its baby brother a Puma. Looks like you have spend a fair few pennies on yours though.

As for my hobbies, pubs, clubs, films and my bike (see sig pic)

Playing guitar in my 2 bands and drinking - alot. ;D
I can't believe that I didn't think of registering the name "beerisgoodfood.com" first.

Oh, and for me: Web design / writing on the geek side, playing the drums on the musical side.

into classic scooters (vespa's, lambretta's)
animation (used to do a lot of 3D, but now concentrating on 2D)
drinking/smoking (duh!)
pool/snooker
electronics

Indoor rock climbing is my main "other" hobby.
I play Worms on line ( mainly Worms2 if anyone is on line ever and wants to play I am Apollo there as well lol ).
I used to surf and ski a lot but that's kinda disappeared in the last few years.

Volleyball (mostly indoor sixes, but some grass), reading scifi and fantasy, card games (currently "Mu"), some real mahjong.

Some programming. ;)

I used to bicycle, sand volleyball doubles, camp, and backpack a lot, but I haven't done any of those in a while.  Past couple summers I've said "I should start one of those up again, I need the exercise," and then don't.  :-\

I enjoy camping and fishing(especially high mountain streams), but most of all...

I enjoy putting a 2001-2002 Cobra 4V into my black convertible 96 GT!  I'm right in the middle of the swap this weekend.  It will put down 340-350 HP to the flywheel and about 300-310 to the pavement naturally aspirated.  NO nitrious or supercharger for this sleeper.  No cobra emblems or body parts either.  Just a GT with a Cobra heart transplant....mmmmm nice!  Anyone curious can check out the other world I live in besides MAME arcade machines...

This site has tons of info on the motor swap...

and this is a great forum with nice bros to help you do it!

I'm quite addicted to DDR (that crazy dance game), not to mention the rest of the Konami 'Bemani' series like Beatmania (I'm horrible at it), Guitarfreaks and Drummania.  I quite like video games in general (although I have no money)  and I enjoy hanging out with friends (at the arcade, playing Bemani)  and hanging out in front of my computer like a freak.
There is SO a spoon.

Wow what a coincidence Brax. I've been A) thinking of building a Cobra replicar and B) thinking of sucking my dad into the hobby to help pay for it. Go figure.

How far along are you? Are you getting the rolling chassis kit or going completely from scratch? Do you know if collapsable steering columns are available? ???

At the risk of being disowned by my wife and family if this wind of this ever got out...here is another ubergeek hobby that held my interest for a while before taking a big fat back seat to my cabinet.  http://www.robotbuilders.net/r2/

Why not combine the two hobbies? heh

I've ordered the Factory Five cobra kit. Its the most economical kit available to me in Canada and since I've seen a completed one at a local car show I have the bug bad. $19k CDN or $11k US. Seems like a great price to me for a full kit. I'll probably end up moving back the delivery date until next year though.

And here is the actual car that gave me the bug:

Nice... I love their Daytona version

:)

Are you dropping a crate engine in there?

I'm afraid I can't afford that right now. I was talking to one of the guys that got his car through Cobra Motorsports at a local car show. He went with a carburated 302 cid, w/ Edelbrock Performer RPM package (heads, cam and intake), putting out approximately 370 hp. I'd like to do something similar.
Thats's more than enough power for these light little cars, besides, it's nearly impossible to insure these things in Canada so I wouldn't want to make it worse than it already is by going to a 427 or even a 351.  ;)
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.
