MAMEWAH to MAME Config Questions
« on: October 07, 2009, 09:34:18 pm »
So I've got Mame up and running in my C:\MAME folder.  (and play tested with a game).
I've got MAMEWAH up and running installed in C:\MAMEWAH.
Went into the config .ini for MAMEWAH and pointed the emulator at the C:\Mame\MAME.EXE
Went into the config .ini for MAMEWAH and pointed the rom path to C:\MAME\ROMS

When I Start Mamewah It doesn't recognize MAME or the ROM installed???

Anybody see what I'm doing wrong?

Also, there are multiple .ini files with in the config folder for MAMEWAH, do I need to update them all to point at the emulator and or the roms?

Thanks,
Bsoder52

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Have you went into the options menu and selected Generate List? Do you have the rom extension set to ZIP? Have you read the WIKI?

Have you made a MAME folder in the CONFIG folder and set up the INI for it?
