Wells Garner 25k7401 part help...
« on: October 06, 2009, 08:25:11 pm »
Hi..

I was doing a cap kit and flyback on my WG 25k7401 and when i was inspecting my main board i found that L703 is broken.  I've done some research on it and what i found is:

TRANSFORMER
Designation  -  Description - Part No.
L703 - COIL PINCUSHION CORRECTION - 009A2970-002

Where can i purchase on of these at? Also, is there a method of installing it? (There is an adjust on it)

Thanks,
Dave

Honestly, most coils like those that I have seen "broken" were merely just the base on which it stands is what got broke or knocked loose. (I've super glued several back together)
The ferrite core and the wire winding are whats important.

How exactly is yours "broken" ?

And I have about a gazillion of those if you find yourself really needing one.
(ok, maybe not a gazillion, but close)

Yeah, if they're solid and broken like that I'd say glue it...... but if it's brittle then it's pointless.

If you need one PM me your info.   ;)
