Adding ROM's
« on: October 02, 2009, 12:10:19 pm »
I'm looking to add a ROM to my MAMEUI system, but I can't for the life of me figure it out, nor can I find anything about it here.  Is there a way to add a game that isn't listed in the initial list of ROMS, or am I relegated to the games listed by default?

Thanks in advance,

-E

Drop it in the directory where your roms are and hit Refresh.

If you mean add a game to the list that isn't supported, you can't.

Yep, it's the "supported issue" as I guessed. Thanks. Are there any Front ends that allow for this?

If it's not supported, it's not supported.

Supported, but emulation is listed as "driver status preliminary" and is missing sound (MAWS).  A parent and one clone, the clone renamed recently.  Maybe you have the old name clone?

Odd, I'll have to look at it again. I didn't see it anywhere, Hmmmm... In order to get rid of my Ameridarts full size, I need to get the ROM working (Deal with my son, don't ask). I have never looked into burning my own ROMS...

Got it...I'm blind. It works fine, except for the sounds...
