WG monitor...blurry then dead

I had a 17 inch WG monitor that was blurry. Got it for a song and now it's not even coming up. I can hear it degausing. Is there a way to diagnose this? I'd like to at least salvage the chassis.

You'll have to narrow down the model..... I don't even know of a 17" Wells Gardner.
Look for a "Pxxx" number on the main chassis if you can't find a label that says something like "19K7xxx".

based upon the symptom, may have a flyback issue that may have shorted the h out xistor/pwr sup.
of course won't know until some things are checked ...
