Removing Joysticks from an SNK P.O.W. Please help!!!

Does anyone know how to remove the Joysticks from an SNK P.O.W. control panel?  I took off the nuts but there seems to be another star shaped nut behind it.  Do I need a special nut driver to remove this? Please help! Thanks, Rup

The star shaped nut turned out to be a washer.  I got that off but there is still something holding it on.  Here's a picture.  Thanks for ther help!

I see nothing. Are you sure the base isn't just tight around the bolt?

It should just come right out because that is all that is holding my joysticks in place are those 4 bolts and nuts unless the  :tool: that worked on the machine before put some sort of glue.

Hey Guys, Thanks for the help!  After I got the washers out of the bolt holes I used the tool below to get under the control panel and the joystick to pry it off the bolts! Thanks again!

Yes there was some sort of glue in and around the bolt holes!!! Never underestimate the power of stupid people I guess!  Why would you think you need glue there?!?!
