Critque my control panel overlay

This is going on a Tron cab.

I've seen what you guys have done for others by critiquing their work and by the time  the revisions and comments we addressed the end results just keep getting better.

Trying to keep the old Tron look with some newer Tron flair.

well, maybe i'm the wrong person for this, as i was never that big of a tron guy, but

what's going on up top? i'm guessing a trackball, but beyond that i can't really guess.
maybe do something to break up the loads of black where the controls won't be going?

I am thinking the glow is just a bit overdone. I wouldn't make the glow halos much thicker than the original lines.

This is what I have finalized for the design.
Note: the white spot in the center will be cut out when the track ball is installed.
