Anyway to play PONG in mame/emulator?
« on: August 30, 2009, 12:16:34 pm »
I've been doing some research on playing PONG in an emulator and I have not found anything good yet. Is there another emulator/simulator that plays PONG? Has anyone ever made a PONG rom that will work in mame? Is there another arcade rom that basically plays like PONG? And if there is a working version, does it have a 2/4 mouse interface?
Thanks!

MisfitMAME simulates it (not emulates).

DICE (Discrete Logic Simulator) will simulate (yep not emulate) pong as well.  Never used it but it was an interesting read,

DICE seemed a little slow to me... MisfitMAME seems to do a decent job.  On a related note - anyone know of any PC games that do PONG well and are cab friendly?  Preferably something that is one player, as I think I'm only gonna have one spinner on my cab as I don't expect too much 2 player action all that often.

Noname and Mameplus can also play pong.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

Plasma Pong rocks.
