« on: August 29, 2009, 05:22:05 pm »
Can I use the tube off a 20s240c122 20 inch to replace the tube in my 19 inch WG?

spacing of mounting ears will be dfferent .....
if the pin out is compatable , and ur willing ( have room)  to modify
the mount,  it can work.

Mounting ears is not an issue here.  I've got no problem adapting that part.

You'll also have to move the yoke over, and it won't fit the new tube.

I've breathed new life into a 19" arcade monitor chassis (Nanao, not a WG) by connecting it to a 20" TV tube. It can work, but the yoke characteristics of the new tube have to closely match the original's otherwise you are cactus. As Peale pointed out, yoke swapping between different sized tubes is probably not going to work.
