Nanao Monitor Identification
« on: August 29, 2009, 04:55:49 pm »
Hey all.  I have a VF2 that I am trying to get a cap kit for.  The problem is, I can't figure out what size the monitor is.  I know, I know, how difficult can it be to figure out the size on a monitor?

The tube is a Mitsubishi a63LCC-11X.  The board is a NANAO board.  However, I can't tell if it is a MS8-26SU 26" color or a MS8-25FA 25" color.

Any thoughts?  Thanks!

Several horizontal lines at the top 1 1/2 " of the screen.

Thanks.  I think I'll go with the 26!

Thanks, sure can!  I appreciate it.  I'll hold off on my order to Bob to make sure I order the correct resistor.
Cheers!

i finally got round to checking the chassis,
C433 10uf 25v-please check though as it may 100uf
R433 2.2k 0.125watt
These are the two components that cause the fault you describe

the following is when you lose full vertical deflection

R436
C437
Q401
Q402
