I have a workking gorf cocktail.  The colour does not seem quite right.  How do i go about getting the colour setting exactly perfect.

For future ref, this should probably be in the monitor/video forum..

But as far as the monitor, there are usually several adjustment knobs for R/G/B on the monitor neckboard that attaches to the back of the tube.  Try to figure out which color is overblown/deficit and adjust that first.  There may be a test mode that will be helpful.

If you can't adjust it, there are other adjustments you can try, but it may just be age taking its toll.. in which case the fix gets much more involved :P

Personally, I like using magnets to "fix" the colour!  ;)
If you build a frankenpanel, chances are I don't care for you as a person.

Gorf does not have a video color/monitor setup mode. :(

I own a portable handheld monitor pattern generator with a plug-in cable to most commercial video game monitors. Makes adjusting the colors a breeze.
