x-men
« on: August 17, 2009, 12:30:00 pm »
so I recently got a neo geo mv-1 board off of ebay and plugged in into my dedicated 4-player x-men cab for testing. everything worked ok so I ended up leaving it in there for the rest of the week. Well yesterday, my kids wanted to play x-men so I went ahead and switched up the boards and it seemed to work fine for a few hours.

Unfortunately, something seems to have happened. The x-men board now randomly restarts. I couldn't really work on it after I found this out since it was pretty late so I didn't get to test out much. The first thing I'm going to to do when I get home is to try and plug in another jamma board or two to see if the random resets appear. If that's not the case, does anyone have any idea of why this might be happening?

Check your power supply.  Sounds like a power supply issue.

i hope so. I'd rather have a power supply issue then have my kids' favorite game go out. thanks for the quick response haruman  :)

agreed could easily be a loose connection also check at the jamma connector could be a loose terminal or even a dirty one.
