What should I look for in a monitor repair shop?

The planets aligned and I was in the right place at the right time last week to buy 7 upright classics from a garage sale here in Phoenix, AZ. Only two of them work, but I'd like to start with the monitors to eliminate *that* component first as part of the troubleshooting effort to get them all functional again. I'd do them myself, but lack of self-confidence and lack of time have me looking for a professional.

Two questions:
1. If it's possible to take the monitors to a local "repair guy" what kind of qualifications or business should I be looking for? Standard tube TV guy? Electronics guy?

2. If you live in the Phoenix metro area, do you have any recommendations for where to take them?

Monitors from the games that don't work come from these machines:
Star Wars
Moon Patrol
Q-Bert
NFL Blitz
Surf Planet

if u can find a reputable tv repair shop , that would be the place to start .
many shops won't work on game monitors ( out of ignorance ).
so, if they decline , remind them it is just like a crt type tv  MINUS the tuner/audio stages . 
schematics are usually available with a little searching.

i'm also on a tv tech forum . so, i might be able to suggest a shop. just need to make some inquiries 1st

Well I know Phoenix has a few arcade vendors, call up and ask if they could work on them.  I would start there.  They might want you to bring the monitors there but if you can offer a little more cash, they might send a technition out to your place.  Thats what they do for a living, since the arcade industry is about bust, Im sure they are looking for anything to pay the bills now a days.

Or you can call me at 623-561-2332.  I don't like to fix monitors on location cause if they are that old, I usually replace all the electrolytic caps as well as fix the problem.  I have extremely expensive and sophisticated test equipment that I do not wish to haul around.  I live in NW Glendale by the way.
