not to sound like an ass, but all the machines had marquees and a sign above them with the name of the game :)

I also need to follow this advice. Ignore or report, don't reply.

Plus they said the name when the contestants ran over to the machines.

That first guy should've gone all the way up to the burger, instead of back down to the bun. The bun was already mostly run over, and they were on top of it, so he would've gotten even more points for both it and the burger.

Also, they skipped when Todd finished DK Jr., and when Darren finished overall.

no sound at work, I listened to it at home, and when that one guy "peppers" in the wrong direction, the male announcer says he lost a ship, lol

Could have been "chef" but I don't know...

I'm wondering what they told all them fogies they were coming to see?
If there's bees in the trap I'm catching em
By the thorax and abdomen
And sanding the stingers down to a rough quill
Then I dip em in ink, and I scribble a bit
But if it they wriggle then I tickle em until they hold still
Lemme say it again
In my land of pretend
I use bees as a mf'n pen

Is it just me, or did their "technician" look suspiciously like Gary Kildall? (Of CP/M fame)

As per the old fogies, they were prolly so hyped up on OPM* that they had no idea what was happening.

Edit: What version of MAME is required to use the most recent version of the zoom909 or Buckrogers rom? I have MAME32 .120 and it seems to be missing some of the components... Argh....

Buck Rogers has worked for ages.

Yeah, I thought John Davidson said 'ship', too....but then thought back through it and conceded it could've been 'chef'. Listening again, I think it's 'chef'.
