Capcom Multigame Marquee
« on: August 10, 2009, 10:21:16 am »
Does anyone have a source for a Capcom Multigame type marquee?   I know a member here created one called CAPCOM ANTHOLOGY,  and I've PMed him as of a few days ago,  but I've heard nothing from him thus far.  I have a CAPCOM CPSII 18-in-1 in a SFII cab and would like to find a suitable marquee.   I might even consider a "Fighter Multigame" type marquee or even a "JAMMA Multigame" marquee since this will be my JAMMA test cab as well.

Well...since I've not gotten a response from the Capcom Anthology guy I figured I'd try my hand at my own.   I'm not so sure I like it...but it would go well with the CP which has the same background...

Bah...it sucks for the most part I think.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

It looks good, it just needs a different font on "Anthology"

I like version two much better...

...though I thing I need to mess with the blue a bit and I might do a slight gradient in the yellow to a slight orangish-yellow.

I'm not necessarily sold on the word "ANTHOLOGY" either...

I was thinking "MULTIGAME" or "MULTI-ARCADE" or "MULTICADE" or perhaps "CHRONICLES"...

I think I like "multi game"...

Capcompilation and Capcompendium require a bigger change in the look of the marquee to pull off...

Well... "collection" went by the wayside.   Here is my latest marquee and bezel...

I may remove the CAPCOM logo from the diamondplate background though...it's a bit redundant.  The only reason I pause from doing so is that the original Capcom diamond plate has them...

Also,  the reason the characters are "floating" above the bottom of the bezel is because the bottom 1.75" of the bezel is hidden under the control panel.
