Are there any general settings for Misfit MAME?  I installed in on my cab but the resolution is a mess and I don't see a cfg or ini file or anything.  Any ideas?

i replied in your project announcements thread, but just for anyone else who runs across this thread looking for the same info..misfitmame will read a mame.ini file, just like regular mame.

It worked!  Thanks severdhed - I'm almost finished configuring everything...

That is exactly right.  D2K was COMPLETELY messed up - there were no vertical lines anywhere (no ladder sides or hammer handles, etc.) and the font was illegible.  As soon as I copied the mame.ini file to my MisfitMAME folder it fixed everything without doing anything else.  You don't have to rename the file either.

yeah, that should work.  the only thing i would be concerned about causing problems would be under the  following sections:
# CORE SEARCH PATH OPTIONS
#
# CORE OUTPUT DIRECTORY OPTIONS

because of them pointing to folders in your actual mame installation...this may or may not cause problems, but you can always delete these sections out after you copy them over.

I did it last night...and at first it was reading my regular mame...but i straighten that out...I also took my ctrlr file ( x-arcade) and placed it also...all controls work fine...

Ahem. Misfitmame is only in the UI version. Hence, you can adjust things just like in MameUI.

the misfitmame i downloaded seems to only be the command line version.  when launching mis.exe, it opens up to a list of roms, very similar to newer command line mame.  perhaps there is a UI version, but that is not the only version

Looks to me the official misfit page has both.

Looks to me the official misfit page has both.

Not .127, and certainly not the recent 'G' version, no.
