analog joystick (U360) interfering with tball/spinner
« on: August 09, 2009, 04:20:54 am »
I searched the threads and found what people have done with Mame/Mame32, but Advancemame seems to treat optical/analog controls differently, and I can't figure out how to set it to avoid the conflict between my U360 and my trackball or spinner. Essentially, it favors the stick, locking out input from the trackball or spinner.

For spinner games, I can put in "input_joystick none", and that relinquishes control to the spinner. However, for trackball games, it nixes both the stick and trackball. I poured over the docs, and tried lots of stuff, but I can't understand how to specify, or what kind of syntax would enable, the trackball over an analog stick.

This is either a bug, or something's loopy. Anyone using a trackball and analog stick in Advancemame?
