What kind of problem are you having with the 7901?  I ask because I have been working on one with a vertical collapse problem and have tried the following suggestions:  cap kit, resistors R98, 99, 100, & 101(including their solder pad connections), yoke wire solder connections, and the usual solder reflows.  So, I'm down to probably either a bad yoke or vertical IC.  So far I have been unable to find anyone who can tell me exactly what the yoke winding resistances should be.  The figures on mine are 2.8 and 7.5 ohms, not deducting the line loss of the ohmmeter leads.  If you can check yours, maybe we can compare notes and help each other out.   The attachment is a 7901 manual and troubleshooting chart I found by accident while searching for those yoke numbers.  Might be of some help.

EDIT:  Drat, it won't open the attachment.  Deleted it.  Sent it to your email.

Not having a good day.  After double checking the color code on R101, I see the one in my 7901 is a 9800 ohm resistor.  The chart I thought was for the 7901 says it's supposed to be 6800 ohm.  Checked some more and finally found the chart described as for the 7901 is actually for a 7500 series.  So please disregard the email I sent.  Back to the drawing board.

The 7901 is fine, but the 7131 has no picture and when I tried to discharge the flyback I got no POP or anything so I assume its dead, I would just as well change it all out.

Now you are just confusing me.....

Earlier on you said the 19" was dead.
I have a 19inch crt (wells-gardner) with a bad board or flyback, and a good 13 inch crt can I swap the boards and flyback?

Then you mentioned a 25K, which is a 25" monitor.
19k7901 the other monitor is a 25k713 <-- needing board and flyback

I'm not sure what that 13" model is you are referring to.
Maybe it's a 13K4713 or 13K7301 or something like that.

WHICH MONITOR ARE YOU TRYING TO FIX ??

And no, you can not just go swapping parts around like that, especially when it comes between different size, makes, models. The parts on most of these are very specific and the chassis is designed to work on that particular size tube with that particular yoke.
There are few instances where individual components will interchange, but you have to be very specific on those. Major components like flybacks and such, usually won't.

If you need help repairing the one you are wanting to fix..... let us know.

Alright , lest see if I can shed some light on it...

The 19k7901 is good I had mesured is at 13 across so thats how I referred to it, and the 25k7131 is bad, needs new parts, I mesuered it at 19 inches.. Sorry for the confusion...

Ok, that does help..... you don't have a 13" at all.
Screen measurements are made diagonally across the screen.
(from bottom left corner to top right corner, etc)
The first two digits of those model numbers designate the monitor size.
19Kxxxx, 25Kxxxx which is why it confused me with all the 13" talk.

Would you rather just have it repaired?

If it doesn't discharge that doesn't necessarily mean your flyback is bad.  Could be many things.

"TV Repairmen"   ::)
(just kidding qrz)

Seriously....... if you are confident enough to remove the chassis from the frame, then there are plenty of people here that do repairs on monitors. A K7000 is especially common.

Packing and shipping would be a killer on these things.. But If I can find a new neckboard and such I could just replace them.

Packing and shipping on JUST the chassis and neckboard shouldn't be much at all.
You don't have to ship the entire tube and such.

More like the flat rate box for about ten bucks.   They're not small, and you have to be sure to pack them right.  Do you have bubble wrap?  If not, get some.

One of these days I should shoot photos of how to wrap them correctly for shipping.
