Making a new top for simpsons control panel questions
« on: August 01, 2009, 06:50:58 pm »
Hello everyone its been awhile... anways I want to make a new top for my control panel as Im adding multigame board and I dont want to ruin the simpsons cp by drilling holes through it. My question is what type of router bit do I need if I just take the cp top off lay it over a some mdf and just follow the outline to make an exact duplicate. Sorry in advance if my question is confusing and or stupid.

Patter cutting bit.

I just grabbed the fist link as an example.  Basically you just clamp the 2 pieces of wood together and go from there.

Now what tool do I need to cut the back of the panel at an angle so it butts up tight with the cab. Working with roughly 130 dollars.
