mame resolution tool and mamewah question
« on: July 30, 2009, 09:15:42 am »
I am using Mamewah as a front end. Recently downloaded mame resolution tool which by default dumps all ini files to c:\mame. Wouldn't the correct location be in C:\mamewah\config\mame\game\? I was under the impression that this is the place to store all game-specific ini files. Also, could someone remind me what information is stored in mame.xml
I guess this file is created when I run the resolution tool. Thanks in advance.

  • Yeah, owning a MAME cab only leads to owning real ones. MAME just isn't good enough. It's a gateway drug.

I've never used it, but are they MAME game INI files or MAMEWAH individual game INI files?

Not sure, I think it's the audit data for what each rom zip should contain.
