ArcadeVGA capture in low res
« on: July 29, 2009, 08:15:39 am »
This is a little difficult to explain, so I'll try to make it simple. I have a XBOX360 and a game which can be displayed on screen at real resolution on the high res lcd, so it appears in a tiny square in the middle of the screen, but displaying real pixels (it's a coin'op conversion: 320x240). Now, is there a way I could use my ArcadeVGA to capture the XBOX display, but using 320x240 for my desktop resolution, and therefore making that tiny square fit my screen? Actually, the result would be full screen, non-interlaced, since you don't need to see the rest of the screen, which would be out of sight. Is this possible?

As the arcadevga has not inputs. Nope.
You COULD use a TV-capture card, but actually that won't produce any "better" results though.
I do all that stuff even without a Joystick ;)
