ELO Touchscreen lamp issue (ET1545L-8UWC-1)
« on: July 28, 2009, 11:35:32 am »
I just received an ELO TOUCH SCREEN ET1545L-8UWC-1 that I bought on eBay.  The monitor seems to being working fine, but when I move the monitor the lamp shuts off and then comes back on a few seconds later.  It seems the slightest movement will trip the lamp.  Is this a function of the monitor or might I have a loose connection?  I'm planning on putting this in a jukebox.

if i'm reading this correctly , ur backlight is shutting down when touched/bumped....?

no, that is not normal.  check the smps pcb for loose connections as well as the inverter pcb.

replace any domed 'lytics found.  ;)
