They have a My Book drive for 99.99 with a 10 dollar gift card when you buy it.

Its amazing how much hard drive prices have dropped.  A quick check at newegg and there are 7200rpm 1tb drives for $75, which seems crazy.

Once you go 1TB you'll never go back.  I got one of those New Egg drives, life has been good.

Yeah, no kidding. About 6 months ago I bought 2 1TB drives (external for 119 each), and I now know why I needed the space. I am waiting for the 2TB hds to drop to around 160 bucks or so, and I will buy two of them, as my 2 1TB drives are 85% full.
I never thought I would need many TB of space, but once you have it you forget about space limitations and focus more on what you CAN do with your computers. Of course that is the crux, you end up using your computers in such a way that 1 or 2 TB of data space simply ISNT enough!
--- Yes I AM doing this on purpose, and yes I DO realize it is pissing you off.

---If my computers were cats, my place would look like an old widows house, with half of the cats having obvious health problems

What really sucks is how bad my organizing is on my previous drives.  On my TB I tried to keep everything separated by file type and then by other classes to make finding things a lot easier.  I dread having to go over my 250gb to clean it up and hope it doesn't happen to 1tb worth of data.

I should dig out my winpro 486 and check its hard drive size.  Probably around 600mb.
